Admission & Selection Procedure
The admission to B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes at Madhepur Teachers Training College is conducted strictly through the Combined Entrance Test (CET) notified by the State Nodal Agency / L. N. Mithila University. The college follows a transparent, merit-based and category-wise selection process.
Step-by-Step Process
- Step 1: Apply online for the Bihar CET-B.Ed. / CET-D.El.Ed. examination.
- Step 2: Appear in the entrance examination conducted by the Nodal University.
- Step 3: Check rank list and counselling notification on the official portal.
- Step 4: Submit college preference (MTTC, Madhepur) during online counselling.
- Step 5: Allotment of seat based on rank, category and preference.
- Step 6: Report to MTTC with original documents and admission fee.
- Step 7: Document verification and final admission confirmation.
Reservation Policy
Reservations follow the Bihar State Government norms applicable at the time of counselling — for SC, ST, EBC, BC, BC-Female and EWS categories, along with horizontal reservation for women, persons with disability and freedom-fighter wards as notified.
Important Notes
- No direct or management-quota admission — all seats are filled through CET counselling.
- Candidates must report on the date specified in the allotment letter; failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of seat.
- Original documents are verified and returned after admission — only photocopies are retained by the college.
- Admission fee is to be paid through demand draft / online banking only as per university norms.
