Health & Medical Care at MTTC
Student wellness is a priority at Madhepur Teachers Training College. The institution maintains a dedicated Sick Room on campus and organises periodic health and medical camps in association with reputed medical practitioners and government health departments.
On-Campus Sick Room
- Dimensions: 17.11 ft × 13 ft = 222.43 sq ft
- First-aid kit and basic medicines available at all times
- Bed & rest facility for unwell students
- Tie-up with local hospitals for emergency referrals
Annual Medical Camp Activities
- General health check-up camp at the start of each academic session.
- Eye check-up camp by visiting ophthalmologists.
- Yoga Camp organised by the Health & Hygiene Committee.
- Awareness drives on hygiene, nutrition & mental health.
- Blood-donation camp coordinated with district hospital.
- COVID-19 awareness & vaccination camps held in 2020-22.
Health & Hygiene Committee
The committee is convened by Ms. Dipa Kumari with members Mr. Jay Shankar Jha and Mr. Vikash Kumar Purvey, along with 10 student members. It plans health-related events through the year and ensures campus cleanliness in line with Swachh Bharat norms.
